WHAT IS MUSIC THERAPY?

Learn About My Methods

AMTA definition
In Music Therapy, we use music as a tool to achieve an non-musical objective. For children with Autism, we may use it to help experience and teach sensory regulation. For a person who has suffered a brain injury, we may use it to help rehabilitate speech, walking, or other movement. For a person with depression, we may use it to help elevate mood and to facilitate cognitive behavioral interventions.
With music therapy, creativity and science work hand in hand to help people with real world problems.
